Lynn Rae Hiers

 

Lynn-Rae Hiers, instructor, choreographer, and professional dancer, has been entertaining audiences for over 20 years. She has trained with various dancers and choreographers, including Terry Schulke (Just Plain Dancing & Co.), Wade Robson (‘N Sync), Liz Ferri (Dance Rave), Rosario and Jamal (Usher), and many others. Lynn-Rae received her AA degree from Riverside Community College where she was selected as a student choregrapher for the college and their “Touring Ensemble”. She danced the competition circuit for many years where she earned the titles of Miss Kids Artistic Review, Miss Showbiz, a one year scholarship winner from L.A. Underground, and many other dance awards. Lynn-Rae’s most current dance and film credits include “So You Think You Can Dance”, Super Bowl XXXI, “Summer in LA” movie premiere, Vikki Lizzi Music Video, Tito Puente Jr. West Coast Tour Dancer, among 10 other top billed performances. Lynn-Rae’s classes are challenging, motivating, disciplined, and strenuous. Outside of class you may find her speaking in baby voices or a Spanish accent, or challenging the students to win her in handstand competitions. In addition to instructing jazz, lyrical, ballet, modern, and improvisation at the San Diego Dance Centre, she is currently performing with Unity Dance Ensemble uner the direction of Tessandra Chavez.
