Sharon Keller

Sharon began her dance career at the age of 3. Through the years she has trained with some of the top dancers, choreographers and instructors in the business. She has a bachelor degree in Speech Arts from the San Diego State University where she also studied dance and theater arts. Since childhood, Sharon has had a passion for dance and her love for children and teaching made a perfect combination. On June 15, 1974, she opened San Diego Dance Centre in El Cajon. Starting with just 35 students, Sharon’s dream of a top quality dance studio where every student was a star grew to over 800 students with a branch in the north county. Sharon’s education in dance and theater arts has provided her the capability of combining proper technical dance training with performing skills. Students, who have trained at the centre, have won many awards and have gone on to have successful professional careers in the business, becoming performers, choreographers and instructors. After 33 years, she sold San Diego Dance Centre to Kristen Hibbs but continues to teach and inspire students at the studio. The San Diego Dance Centre continues to provide top quality instruction and choreography in a warm and positive atmosphere, where every child is a star.
